Am sorry, did not like his product at all. Even after about 20 boilings, the tea and coffee still tasted of plastic. Never, ever had a plastic kettle like it. Please pass it on to manufactures. Thank you.

Looks good, boils quickly but pours very badly. The water dribbles at first but then rushes out causing spillage over worktop. I’m working on a technique to overcome this but no success to date.

Fast to boil and very stylish. I do feel that the water is not as hot in comparison to my old kettle. Seems to be a bit less in heating terms, but adequate for me at this point in time.

Well made if a bit heavy for older people. Sight glass in a silly place and hard to see. Chrome handle could do with a better grip.

It looks great. The design is contemporary and it's really quiet. Lovely to have in the kitchen. Unfortunately it's my first plastic kettle and I am unnerved about the lack of marketing information on BPA from Russell Hobbs. Only reviewer feedback let's me know its BPA free. Which is quite a big thing. It does have a very particular taste that I can only attribute to it being plastic. I cant taste in coffee but tea has a synthetic plastic aftertaste. The steam smells plastic too. I have used it several times over a week and its unfortunately still there. I do wish i had read the reviews first before purchasing on looks. Its does have strong points but clearly what it looks like versus what it actually does are two separate functions. I would rather it was ugly and made good tea! Lesson learnt.

Kettle is very stylish. Unfortunately product description does not state that it is plastic. If you zoom into the picture of the box you can just make out that it made of plastic. Lost a star because of this.
