Got this toaster to match our kettle as we had done up our kitchen. It looks really smart and expensive although it was really reasonably priced. It toasts bread perfectly and also fits wider products in. Would recommend.

Given the number of years that Russell Hobbs have been making toasters, you would think that by now they would have worked out the size of the slot needed to accommodate normal sized slices of bread. The choice with this one is either put up with only 3/4 of the slice toasted, or, jam it in sideways with one end bent and risk it not popping up. The bread I use is not abnormally sized - it is the one my local shop sells out of first. I really don't see why I should change my eating habits to make the food fit the toaster. It works well otherwise, although it does need to be turned up to 5 on the dial to get coloured toast. I am so disappointed I can only give it 2 stars.

Wanted a white toaster (not off white or cream!!!) - this is a lovely pure white. Not a fast toaster but lovely evenly browned toast. Excellent.

It's mostly fine, toasts a good toast, but I'm weirdly annoyed that if you want to toast just two slices, you HAVE to use the lefthand side. Why?! I know this is entirely not a big deal, but why can't I just choose which side? Other than that it's fine, looks nice, all good.

Very good toaster with generous space even for big bread slices that fit in very nice. It heats evenly across the whole surface of the slice and doesn't burn (i use it on 4 setting)

I bought the kettle and toaster to match as just had a new kitchen. They look really stylish and are easy to clean. It does 4 slices of toast perfectly. I have also used it for current teacakes. My old one used to burn the edges but this one doesn't. I would highly recommend it

The item came in a very badly damaged box. It does work although its obvious it has been mishandled. Hopefully no hidden damage has occured.
