I was a little reluctant to buy the Russsell Hobbs Steam Generator Iron Model 24420 as it claimed to offer the same features as irons costing 3 times as much. And in the picture it looked a bit utilitarian. But I went ahead and was pleasantly surprised by its compactness and pleasing lines. Stainless sole yes, but will be easier to keep spotless. I liked the rapid heat up. Slight delay in steam switch but soon got used to it. Fully recommended!

It's more compact than previous one I had. Light and easy to use. Placing it on holder takes a bit of practice...place broad end into holder and push front in until it holds firmly. Delighted with it.

Good reasonable price and good product.
