Overall this has been a good Iron, the reason for the low rating is I've only had the iron around a year and a half. Its just started spitting steam from the bottom of the base.... which should not be happening and the steam function no longer works on the actual iron. I know it's not the most expensive iron around, but I still expected it to last longer than 18 months. I had a basic steam iron for 6 years before this one that I bought for £12 from a supermarkets own brand variety... so for a Russell Hobs iron to break that quick is very disappointing.

Really disappointing. I bought this as a back up iron. It’s pretty useless. Waste of money.

Light weight and a little too compact, by this I mean when holding the iron handle, unless you have small hands your fingers (knuckles) touch the temperature dial causing it to move. Slightly annoying. The hose gets very hot when in use, which is not something I expected after using a different brand for many years and never experienced this. This unit has no carry handle or anyway of transporting it other than to grab the base, making tucking it away after use a delayed action waiting for it to cool down so it can be moved safely. The wire tidy feature on the side is useless as it’s too flimsy to be effective. I’ve never had a stainless steel face (soleplate) iron before and would not opt for another one, it’s not as smooth as a ceramic soleplate. The steam delivery is delayed, which is very inconvenient and annoying. Would I buy this iron after now had the chance to use it … no, but now I have purchased (and used) it, I’ll put up with it until it becomes too annoying and gets tucked away in a cupboard for good….. advice but a ceramic soleplate with a carry handle/feature.

Works well but a bit disappointed the iron is lighter than I expected it to be.

Easy to use, Low price does what it says on the box

Excellent iron. Only thing I’d say is not so easy to carry as my last one which was “Locked” onto base for carrying. Quite noisy when using steam function but guess most are like that

Good quality It is my first steamer iron and it is light and easy to use

Good price, lightweight, good steam delivery, easy to top up and you can see the max water level, had a tefal previously this is much better would definitely recommend
