Whilst the machine cooks well itself, the design means all the juices and oil gets into small areas which is impossible to completely clean. It has taken me 30 mins after each use to clean, even then it still smoke when heating. Bacteria can be growing in the gaps so don't know how long I will use it for before getting rid. Very disappointed as it's making the processes harder and more challenging.

I only used the waffle attachment so far. It takes a while to warm up and a very long time to make waffles. After the first waffles any subsequent waffles take longer to make presumably due to reduction in temperature. I would recommend this only if you do not have particularly high standards for your waffles.

Easy to use. Fast heat up. You can unclip plates and wash in the dishwasher. You can buy additional plates for doughnuts and churros. Only niggle is the waffle plates are quite deep so it can be tricky to get the waffles out but this could be because I’m using a gluten free mix which is softer. Wouldn’t stop me buying them though as everything I’ve made so far has worked well.

I wanted a single device that would make toasted sandwiches and waffles. This fit the bill perfectly. It is simple to use and the inner plates pop out quickly and easily. It doesn't take long to warm up and it has made great sandwiches and waffles so far. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the size of the plates. You have to cut the crusts off the bread to be able to get them to fit.

I found it very useful , and can do lots of meals with its different hot plates

Good toastie machine with removable panels which is great for cleaning. Panels can also be changed for making waffles etc (included). Losing a star as it is quite small - slightly smaller than a 'leading brand' toastie bread slice which is annoying.

This is the second Russell Hobbs 3-in-1 24540 Sandwich Toaster that I am buying. Bought one for myself and it's so amazing that my sister wanted one as well. Removable plates make it easy to clean, it distributes heat evenly so doesn't burn. For a 3 in 1 gadget it is super compact and doesn't take much space.
