We are on our third lot of joycons since Switch launched even though it is barely used since the daughter went on to play xbox. They don't last as long as the console and are very expensive to replace. The Switch itself is a very good gadget, just the joycons are cheaply (intentionally????) made.

Joy cons are needed for the switch if you ever want to play handheld. Our previous ones developed drift which became so bad it made games unplayable. These are not drifting yet, though I fully expect them to in the future. At the moment they are fine, though they have the odd moment of disconnection or closing a menu for no apparent reason. They do the job we need them to do, but they could be a bit better in an ideal world.

Replacement for the other switch controls they work great and look good on the switch

Really good product just in time for the holiday season, lots of use for time to come. Take’s your mind off whatever is going on with Covid-19 no need to go out.
