The iron is great, looks very smart and is a good weight. It has a good length cord and heats up pretty quickly. It's certainly much nicer than my previous iron and for a good price. I've not used it a lot so I can't say how well it deals with limescale but overall it was a good buy, would recommend.

I have owned a many other branded Irons but my recent one was a russell hobs which I had for the last few years, I was gutted when it stopped working. After reviewing the 100's of irons available online. I decided to stick with a normal steam iron and buy this Russell Hobbs 27000 iron. However, I've got to say this isn't just a normal iron. To start with its very nice to look at, sleek, black, and very modern. It feels really comfortable with a silicone type soft grip. It is fairly weighty but so was my old iron, It holds a lot of water in the tank, glides effortlessly over the clothes and is a pleasure to use. I also like the fact that it has a nice point, handy for getting into tricky areas on garments, and the cable is nice and long too. It has a really powerful steam shot I would definitely recommend this iron.

This is a very heavy iron before you put any water in it and as I have arthritis in my hands I have had to return it.
