We love it. It’s a huge improvement on the previous version. The best features are the removable dishwasher safe plates which makes things so much easier and the integrated fat catcher which helps to make sure there’s no mess on the worktop without needing an additional thing that always seems to migrate to the very back of a cupboard somewhere. I was able to get rid of my old George Foreman grill and my panini press as this can do it all. Added bonus is that it has a built in extractor which means no smoke/steam which can lead to build up of grease in the kitchen. If you hadn’t guessed… I’m a fan!

It does the job it was made to do.

Dries food out, and not as smoke free as they claim.

Uneven cooking. The bottom plate seems to get less hot than the top one. We made toast with fillings which was brown on the top but soggy on the bottom. Not sure if my toaster is faulty, or is it a design flaw because of the holes on the bottom? We had a very basic GF grill that used to make the toast evenly from both sides. An upgrade appears to be a poor choice.

I purchased this as an upgrade to an earlier model, it has a much better design, removable & dishwasher safe hot plates & drip tray are so much better, it is a tad heavy & I was disappointed that there is still no way to neatly stow the power lead, as it is a bit of a lump to store away, I’ve used it to cook a number of various items & it cooks well, also the new design on the hot plates does actually seem to reduce the smoke & smell, I’m very pleased.

A little larger than what I’m used to but Wausau to clean and a worthwhile buy
