This is the second Morphy Richards Steam generator iron I have owned - the previous model, far heavier & somewhat unwieldy. This latest iteration tho', what a difference ! Lightweight (even when the reservoir tank is full of water); neat cable storage, rapid heating element, & a smoother delivery of steam to the garments being pressed. Aesthetically pleasing, longer power cord, & easy to use; straightforward instructions, with the 1.8 litre water tank more than capable of ironing a large basket of laundry in record time. I have even used the iron on already hanging curtains - it really is that versatile ! Our previous Morphy Richards steam generator lasted for nine years - one might trust this will last as long; competitively priced, too ! Solid build quality (as standard). It doesn't really get much better than that.

This is a lightweight iron with up to date labour saving functions the descaling is easy without emptying and flushing, there are more safety features than older models and simple controls, would definitely recommend especially at a competitive price.

I love this item because it is light to transport.Ihave used Morphy Richards for years They are good value for money.
