This toaster does not toast evenly, some sides burn while others are still white. I am disappointed as I spent more on a toaster than I normally would expecting better quality.

The three slots that worked well on arrival are good, but the 4th doesn't heat up properly and produces toast that is burned on one side and lightly crispy on the other. I really should get around to returning it. I think if all the slots worked it would be a great toaster. The handles are easy for my hypermobile hands and the take a peek function is fantastic. It doesn't "pop" violently when it's finished, and it's genuinely wide enough for chunky cut bread. I would like the slots to be a little longer to fit flatbreads folded in half and placed in at an angle like my old toaster, but that's not a big deal. Overall, it's a good, solid toaster - if you get one with all the slots heating evenly.

Looks good and is ok, although for the price I didn’t expect to have to turn the bread round to toast evenly on both sides so a little disappointed.

Great build and design. Only had this a couple of weeks so need to see how it goes. One of the slots doesn’t seem to be browning at the same rate as the others. Apart from that I love it.

Love it, although disappointed that the silver at where the slots start to darken so quickly - I've only had the toaster for one week. There's nothing that can rid of the darkening either as you're not supposed to use an abrasive scourer.

Good looking machine. AO were the only company with brushed steel in stock. Hope it’s as durable as the Dualit it’s replacing which lived for over ten years.

We are absolutely delighted with this toaster. Its clean cut, elegant look goes so well with our Dualit Kettle and sits proud next to each other. Simple to use even for frozen bread, bagels and toasted fruit buns. Excellent value and fast delivery. A great purchase. Thank you AO

This is the best toaster I've had to date. Both sides are totally independent and it toasts very even. Pricey but worth the extra. Can be colour co-ordinated when we change our colour scheme (at a reasonable price too)
