For years I have had another brand of mixer, which recently gave up the ghost. I decided to replace it with a Kitchen Aid mixer. What an amazing piece of kit I totally love it and am currently collecting some more accessories. Me thinks I'm going to be doing a lot more cooking. If you are considering buying one of these you won't be disappointed and the kitchen Aid looks so good on my kitchen worktop. I went for the silver version which matches my kitchen perfectly and is not noisy when in use.

I was set on making myself the best birthday present, since I love baking, so after few days of research about standing mixer I decided to buy this one despite it's ridiculously expensive! I am so glad I did since it looks absolutely stunning in the kitchen, it's very sturdy and only after a week has proved to be fantastic to use. I made pizza dough, sweet and savory muffins and the best "Pan di Spagna" effortlessly. Greatest buy!

This is my first KitchenAid Stand mixer and my initial thoughts are that this brand totally deserves its outstanding reputation. The mixer is really well designed and extremely robust. It is beautiful to look at and all the functions are simple and effective. It is actually a very heavy piece of equipment but this ensures it doesn't move, even on high speeds, and the locking arm makes it easy to handle. The three tools are easy to fit and remove and the mixer is a joy to use. I like the stainless steel bowl because it is so easy to clean and very sturdy, and having a handle is a great idea. KitchenAid mixers seem pricey, but now I have used one, I totally think they are worth it and I would highly recommend this model.
