It's only bad point and the reason for 4 and not 5 stars, is the frequency of which the large drip tray has to be emptied. We always keep a mug under the spout during power on/off and cleaning cycles, but even when not cleaning the milk system, which discharges straight into the tray, the large drip tray fills rapidly. The tray goes right through to the back of the machine and must be carrying out some sort of cleaning operation back there. That said, this is an absolutely brilliant machine. If you can't make your own perfect cup of coffee you're just not trying. The machine is so flexible that it will probably take a few attempts to get it just right. It can have 8 people's coffee recipes stored, named and available for easy selection with just a couple of touches, not just for 1 type of coffee but for several different ones. So you can have your very own version of cappuccino, latte, americano or whatever. Every cup brewed can be manipulated for strength, aroma, temperature, volume and bean type. There are 2 bean hoppers so you could even have different beans for different types of coffee. It also makes cappuccinos in the same way a barista does, coffee first then milk foam. The app is very useful for adjusting your different recipes, but just a gimmick for making the coffee, you still have to fill it with water and put mugs under the spouts. It's easier to just touch the panel a couple of times than fiddle with your phone. I would recommend this machine to anyone who liked coffee.

I’ve been using De Longhi Magnifica coffee machine for years thinking I’ve had the best coffee on the entire world...well, couldn’t have been more wrong. My new Melitta is giving me all what I could wish. Full of choices of the really tasty coffee, it’s easy to use and very intuitive. What is amazed me the most is how it is quiet no more waking up the entire house during making morning coffee. This is the best choice I could make.

I had such high hopes for this machine but milk based drinks are Luke warm. It’s is no option to adjust milk temperature..if you like low temp drinks then you will like this machine. If you use the machine then need to teturn it you lose 50% of what you have paid.

Bought this machine because it holds two different kinds of beans and froths milk automatically. Positives. Coffee is lovely, lots of options to configure great to have the option of two different kinds of beans. Negatives. Uses a huge amount of coffee beans and water to make coffee. Milk isn’t hot enough and there is no option to change the temperature. Difficult to empty the drip tray without spilling it. Some options are hard to access. Overall we are probably going to sell or return this. Would have returned already if we could get all of our money back, but as it’s been used we get maximum of 50% back.

Machine simple to set up and use, app is clear and simple also. The ability to change the temp of coffee is helpful, the only slight annoyance is we intended to use this for hot chocolate as well, however you can’t adjust the milk temp which at best is tepid.

Brilliant Coffee machine this is a which Best Buy and it certainly is a good machine especially with the double hopper. Makes a great cappuccino

Bought to replace an earlier version. (Barista TS which lasted circa 5 years and a smidge over 16,000 cups before eventually failing). Compared to the previous version, the new features that stand out are the "smart" Bluetooth functionality that I doubt that I will use, and the much quieter grinder which I very much appreciate. Star knocked off due to Melitta's insistence on the use of Melitta branded maintenance cleaners (e.g. coffee and milk cleaners). They should really just specify what type of cleaners are acceptable / won't potentially cause damage to the machine.

Very easy to use. Set up from your phone is very easy. Could probably do with a bigger water tank and bean hoppers, but the two different beans is an excellent feature. Smallish form factor dvosnt take up much room. Quick, Excellent and simple process from AO. Must compliment the delivery team too!
