We purchased the Beko BST 4923IW drier in mid August, It never dried our towels properly and in January the machine failed completely. We are now left with a non working machine. Beko and AO's 1 month warranty for running it in a commercial premise means we can't get it working without investing more money. We cannot recommend this product.

This product was not fit for purpose and was written off by Beko.

Hate it!!! 2 hours drying time & clothes still damp. Very disappointed.

Had issue with the dryer - wasn't drying properly - Used the longest settings and somehow was running for 5-6 hours and still damp clothes. The count down would keep resetting from 1 hour 10 minutes down to 1 hour 6 minutes then back to 1 hour 10 minutes. It did this for an hour. It never collected water in around 6 cycles and never properly dried clothes. From other reviews it seems like a good machine, I may have just received a dud machine. Beko sent engineers out and tried to fix but still didn't work. AO have been brilliant and organised an exchange with a different brand.

Nice unit, quiet, lots of functions. Rating lost 2 stars as pretty slow to dry, even on sensor setting often still damp in places, also chime will repeat numerous times (5+) before eventually turning off ...not ideal at night.

Whilst I am aware that this tumble dryer is supposed to be more economical than my previous dryer, it does take three times as long on any recommend setting and then as the clothes are often still damp, requires a further drying length of time before clothes are completely dry. My previous dryer would dry anything if set on high for 40 minutes. This Beko model is taking up to 210 minutes to dry the equivalent load. Is it really over 5 times as efficient? I very much doubt that!

Bought this to replace our previous Beko heat pump dryer which has lasted for about 10 years. This machine does everything it says. It has large capacity and runs pretty quiet for a tumble dryer. We are hoping to get good economy, as we did with our previous similar Beko machine. We have only had it for a few weeks so still getting used to the new programs, and hence the 4* review.

Only a 4 because we had to reverse the door which was very difficult. Took two adults to turn the glass Emailed Beko but no reply.. Only used one program so far. No reverse action on that program. Hopefully is on some others. Vague instructions re the steam program. Early days yet but for the price not impressed.
