    Too hot to handle!

    1/5
I would caution anyone considering this oven. You'll notice that the timing function is electro-mechanical and not electronic, essentially a clockwork relay. Consequently the cooling constraints on the control panel are lower and it can tolerate higher temperatures. We selected the grill on max and fan option for 30 mins to perform the cleaning function, to burn off packaging residue as directed in the manual. The front panel got so hot we very nearly suffered a skin burn. We returned it and purchased a Bosch with an LED display, performed the same test without incident. We purchased the Beko after seeing its high rating in a Which? report, I will be contacting them and suggesting they perform a control panel temperature test.

Simple to use but has some failings.

I like the simplicity and I like the size. I don't like the fact that the shelves pull straight out. You can easily pull them too far and end up with hot food all over the floor. They also tip forward with the same issue. The bulb blew after just a few months (cheap to replace). Despite Beko's claims, it does not cook evenly throughout. I just cooked two identical loaves of bread and the sides of the loaf tins closer to the sides of the oven are clearly more brown than the centre. I tend to swap things around half-way through cooking to even things out. Despite these failings I still like the oven.

    Will do, but not perfect

The stainless steel where the controls are shows up smudges and fingerprints which is frustrating, so I will need to remember not to get a similar product again. I have my doubts about it cooking evenly as well as definally the left side of the oven seems to cook things quicker than the right.

    Meh, it's an oven.

Nice even cooking and very simple to use. However, it takes around 20 minutes to heat up to 200 degrees, and the door resonates in a very strange way when you close it. At the end of the day it's a cheap oven and it does its job perfectly well, but it's nothing to write home about.

Good oven and looks stylish in the kitchen. Only downside is that it doesn't come with a connector cable and they should've made it a little more obvious in the description.

Great little oven for the price. Not many bells and whistles but just what we need.

Baking tray goes tight. The rest is ok. Matching expectations and does the job.
