    Disappointing

    2/5
Very disappointed in this product,we had an old vented Baumatic with just two levels hot and warm, simple to use and used to dry clothes very, very quickly. This new Baumatic had about 12 settings all which take much more time to dry the clothes and then they still feel damp. ??

Works as described but takes a long time to dry

Frustrated that I can't get a built in vented tumble dryer. As people say this does take longer to dry, but hopefully will be offset by lower electricity bills! Instructions for installation and fitting doors are not very good at all!

    Baumatic integrated drier

Installation isn’t the best no access beneath to get to rear levelling feet, hinges supplied for the door were provided with minimal adjustment so had to spend ages trying to adjust, the drawing provided for cutting the hinges was incorrect so had to do via measurement. I was aware that it would take longer to dry clothes compared to a conventional drier but we have had to put items back in after the cycle had finished due to items still not dry. Overall satisfactory but nothing to shout about.

Smart looking With lots of easy to use settings

It’s cheap to run, but takes twice as long as a vented dryer, need a lot of patience . Easy to empty the door water catcher Easy to empty the fluff catcher Has lots of settings Like the rapid setting either 30/45/60 mins Got an Intergratedl model and fits perfect under the counter top, fairly quiet running.

Purchased to replace an integrated vented dryer as there is simply no choice. Pros it’s reasonable quiet but apart from that not much else no matter what setting you use things never get properly dry. I guessing this is a problem with all of these types of dryers

Great Dryer, Terrible Build Quality and Design

    3/5
We’re now on out 3rd one of these. The first had a broken heat sensor, so it never switched off and the clothes came out molten - I would never recommend leaving these machines on at night or when you go out. The second sounded like a it had a pair of trainers kicking around in it. The third seems to be okay and has an updated display, so perhaps this is a revised model? The tumble dryer has a lot of pluses and is replacing a ventilated White Knight work horse of a dryer, that was just brilliant. The good, is it dries clothes well and it’s easy to enter the water container. It does sweat though and leaves the insides of your cabinets a little damp but it’s not too bad. The integrated aspects are however very poor. Hoover/Candy/Beaumatic (they’re all the same company) have taken their standard dryers and reduced the width but forgot about attaching the cupboard door. Their solution is to add some huge blocks that are impossible to fix fully, and with screw holes in the machine that don’t line up with the casing. Our door now flops around a little as a result. The instructions are also really poor, with poor descriptions and illustrations that don’t match the text, as well as important information in illustration captions rather than the instruction text and are therefore easy to miss. Considering the choices for an integrated dryer are limited to this model and slight variations of it, this is still a good dryer but the design and build quality let it down badly - whether this is on Hoover’s side or AO not treating the machines with respect in the warehouse or delivery. The machines are not cheap either, so I hope this is our 3rd and final dryer and that it doesn’t break within a time reasonable under consumer law.

    Good but noisy initially

    3/5
Early days yet, but happy with drying performance and how it is handling clothes so they don't come out crushed. 3 stars is due to the fact we had a machine that had the "trainer thudding round" noise, which was really bad initially. Product support from Hoover\Candy\Baumatic stated that this issue was due to the neoprene drum support rollers having flat spots due to the machine sitting static since manufacturing. They said it would take upto 20 hours of operation for them to round out again and the noise has improved over the first 4 runs, so i'm hopeful that is correct. Controls are much more complicated than our old vented dryer (a 15 year veteran) so only used a few options so far but had good results. If it did not have the drum noise, it would probably have rated a 4.
