We went for the Baumatic cooker hood, as it was a named brand that I recognised and spares are available. There are a lot of unbranded units on the internet.

Cheaper than buying spares for my 10 year old one. Only needed two drill two new real plug holes and it went up a treat. Seemed as though the box had been opened though the bag containing the screws and rawlplugs was ripped open and some parts had fallen out of the box. Fortunately still had the screws from the old one. Working fine though and I can again cook bacon again without setting of the smoke alarm.

Happy with it so far, works as we expected, and on the plus side, its quieter than our last one. We can still have a conversation in the kitchen without having to shout.

Probably the best cooker hood I've come across. The twin lights are at the front giving superb lighting whilst cooking, The extractor is reasonably quiet compared to others I've had and definitely removes the more volume per minute than most others. I don't use the carbon filters as the cooker is on an outside wall, but the steel filters are easy to remove, clean and replace. Overall an excellent piece of kit!

We chose this Baumatic extractor because it’s easy to reach the buttons and doesn’t require a remote - do no batteries or WiFi to worry about.

We bought this to replace our old one, which stopped working. This one came with cable with wires exposed and no plug, also no filters included- and it does not say which ones exactly will fit, and ao don't sell them. I paid for the removal of the old one, i was at work but my builder was in so he told them to take it(otherwise they would have left it). I only bought it due to the shape, to avoid having to retile around it. The LED lights are much better than the old ones, but the fan is loud.
