    Not for me.

Soft close door is a dreadful feature. It takes ages to close and seal, allowing lots heat to escape. Our fan started making a really loud noise after a couple of months and the 'soft-close' main door was so soft, it wasn't closing properly. Hinges needed replacing - after two months. The Belling engineer said he had recently been out to service several of these models and they were all reporting the same fault. AO have been really good but the oven is being taken out. After two months. Pay more and get a decent oven with a normal door.

This is a nice looking oven, but was badly let down by the large amount of condensation produced by the main oven. Despite a repair by a Belling engineer to replace the oven hinges and oven hinge holders (which took 4 months to arrive !!), the condensation continued and the oven had to be replaced with a different brand.

    Very disappointed

First ever new oven but when fitted had vibration from oven fan, confirmed by Belling engineer. AO organised replacement within one week. Very happy with service from AO.

    Nice oven but

The oven is very nice and would be fantastic if it worked. The top oven works but the fan oven doesn't having to wait over a week for someone to come and fix it.

Nice looking oven but lacking some functionality

    3/5
Was very disappointed to find that the lower oven does not have a grill function. Always handy for things like crackling and general finishing of roasts, bakes etc.

    Disappointing

    3/5
Very disappointing! I bought this to replace the previous Belling cooker which finally failed after 20 years of excellent service. What a mistake. I used 2 separate oven thermometers to test. The Main Oven:- The temperature control scale is only marked every 50 degrees with no gradations anywhere so anything between those figures is pure guesswork. If I set the temperature to 200 degrees, The light goes out at 150 degrees and the temperature reaches 175 after 30 minutes but goes no higher. To cook at 200 I have to set it to approximately 225 and wait at least 45 minutes before starting. The temperature light is so dim you have to stand directly in front of it to see it. The Grill:- Very slow warm up as with the main oven. Trying to grill 4 fish fingers in the centre of the grill pan using the half grill resulted is some being burnt and others part cooked. I also attempted to grill 2 thin chicken breasts on maximum setting for full grill and eventually after 20 minutes ended up with 2 insipid white offerings with no browning at all.

Fine but rubber seal not attached properly.

Looks great. Cooks well. Easy to use. On the down side, the rubber seal in the main oven is not attached properly and lot of condensation leaks onto the wooden cupboard (built in) when you open the door which will cause damage to the wood.

This Belling replaced a Neff double oven which needed replacing. So far the oven has performed well with a roast and some bread. But I am not happy with the exterior finish. The door pulls are a shiny, coated, chrome finish material, which I imagine will not be very hard wearing. I was expecting a more robust, metal finish. Also the temperature dials do not allow accurate points between temperature settings. I have to approximate a setting of , for example, 160 ° , because the only markers in that range are 150° and 200°.
