Early days but seems pretty good

This is the first Baumatic appliance we have bought and, although we have only had it for a short time, so far so good. We bought it based on the good reviews that other people had left - there seemed to be fewer negative points than any other we were considering at this price point. It is a little wider than our last machine, so it did only just fit, but it went in easily enough and plumbing it in was simple too. It cleans clothes really well, they come out cleaner than our last machine, which had broken, and there are a nice range of wash cycles at various lengths. We particularly like the three shorter ones which you can set to a high spin. The only thing we don't like, and the reason why we have taken off one star, is that some of the longer cycles don't allow you to change the spin speed to the highest speed, which means then we need to add an extra spin at the end of the cycle to get them extra dry. The 1400 spin does take a lot of extra water out of the laundry, meaning less drying time.
