    Great microwave - useless grill

    1/5
I'm afraid this has proved to be a complete disaster. If you just want a microwave - great but as a combination oven it just doesn't work. It's our fault - we chose this to match the N50 single oven but because of lock down couldn't actually see it. The main problem is that the only shelf is fixed and doesn't slide out. It turns over depending on whether the oven is being used for grilling or microwave and oven. This means that when grilling, for example, it's almost impossible to turn items over without burning hands and wrists. One small additional complaint is that every time the door is opened the oven turns off - just like a mircrowave. We were slightly misled by the pics accompaning the product which clearly show the shelf being pulled out - this just isn't so. We should've gone for the more expensive oven, which is what I recommend

Rubbish microwave. 900 watts is only for heating liquids. Actual useful power for heating food is 600watts. Even then it takes an age to heat a bowl of anything. Absolute rubbish given the price!! Raging at NEFF Waste of money...

    AVOID

Very poor impression given how good the previous version that we had had for 12+ years was. There is no comparison! Am finding this very difficult to come to terms with and would not have bought it if I had realised in advance - despite the very detailed research we thought we had done. The book provided by Neff is useless and in a lot of cases the instructions are 'plain wrong'. If you buy this, believe me when I say 'you are on your own'. Not recommended.

Positives: Simple to use. Sleek external design. Does what it’s supposed to. Slight negatives: fan makes a slight rattle and the internal spot light isn’t centred.

The oven was a replacement for a previous Neff oven, so we were pleasantly surprised it had all the original features plus more. The only downside is that it only comes with only one quite flimsy shelf, but it is adequate.

This is classy but not sure it cooks the same as the oven. Seems to take longer.

Replaced a more expensive microwave but is almost as good

Has all of the functions we need and is easy enough to use. The downsides are 1. the tray cannot be adjusted in height or pulled out from the microwave 2. the switches feel a bit flimsy.
