As others have said it is heavy, but only when filled with water, 4.5L at the top of the handle does make it a bit heavy, but not too bad. As regards cleaning it works very well and does a really good job of refreshing carpets given the price. It loses one star for being quite noisy and being top heavy.

Very pleased with this purchase. Does exactly what it says in the description. Yes, it is a bit heavier than others but cleans and dry's really well. No problem doing the stairs. Great service from AOL.
