Has been in less than a week. Sometimes it will turn on, other times it won’t. Sometimes it turns itself on! Electrician who fitted all the appliances in our kitchen said he didn’t feel happy leaving it connected.
Called Belling and they said they will contact me with a date to check it which could be next week, could be the week after. I’m left with two kids and no hob for who knows how long!
Oh and when I told them that the electrician had disconnected it, I got told that the engineer will be checking for any tampering which may invalidate the warranty!!! I’m registered disabled so couldn’t disconnect it myself, I wasn’t saying he’d tampered with it!
