    Disappointing - and not cheap!

    2/5
Really disappointed with this. Main oven temperature is way hotter than the dial says. We even bought an oven thermometer to check, and 180 on the dial is around 215 inside the oven. All our food was being cremated. A few minor annoyances - the handle on the top oven isn't a bar. We tend to hang towels on the upper bar, but now that there isn't one, we'll have to find somewhere else to put them. Also, the oven racks have a raised rim, so you can't just slide food off the racks, you have to go in and dig it out, which isn't always easy and has already led to one burnt hand. Just little things, but they make a difference. I really don't like this oven, am investigating returning it for a refund.

    Superb cooking

    5/5
Cooks to perfection. Love it. Yes the control knobs are a bit cheap, plastic and flimsy, but I checked others in shops and they weren’t much better. I can live with that as the cooking experience is brilliant. A great addition to our house.

    Great cooker

The oven warms up really quickly and cooks really nicely. Only slight issue is the steel is delicate and can scratch quite easily.

    Very pleased

    5/5
I'm very pleased with this new dual fuel cooker. As other reviewers have mentioned, the surround to the control dials move slightly, but they seem robust enough. I was looking for a replacement for my previous dual-fuel cooker and checked out the latest model of the same make in a shop, and the control dials on that were more flimsy than this AEG model. I have successfully baked cakes and the Christmas turkey came out beautifully, so all in all I'm very pleased.

    Good looking cooker

    4/5
Good looking cooker. Top and bottom overns heat up quickly as well as the grill. The temperature control on the grill is not adjustable but not a problem as changing the hight of the grill pan is smooth and easy. Does not come with a grill tray handle. Control knobs initially felt a little loose and plastic but work well in addition their location - facing up - works well. The two hob pan supports are sturdy and don't slip. The hob is also deep so liquid spills are no problem.

    Nicely made oven

    4/5
We've only had the oven a week but it works just fine. The surrounds to the knobs for controlling the hob etc do appear to be rather lose though.

    Simple to use

    4/5
Only had the cooker for a couple of weeks. So far, I like the simple to use controls, excellent heat insulation and effective gas burners. Main oven is roomier than our last one and the top oven/grill bakes and grills well. Hope it lasts as long as our last cooker, which was made in 1928 and still worked in 2019 - 91 years!
