Good Size,but annoying door design.
3/5
Had fridge freezer for few weeks now, after having to return first damaged one!.The overall opinion is just OK!, It loses marks for it's door design quality and the noise from the compressor! I had an old Beko for 12 years before settling on this one,and the main reason chose this was size of the compartments, the freezer is decent size, and fridge can accommodate plenty for a family of 3.The harvest fresh drawer is yet to convince me?,but everything is kept nice and cold, unsure if it's prolonging the life of items?,and having it means the inside door milk/bottle holder is quite high up!,but I'm getting used to it.I removed the wine rack as it used up too much height space,Just use inside door as of plenty space.
Warning! The change of door opening/hinges on this model is extremely difficult! We didn't account for the wires involved because of door alarm sensor! and the difficulty in making new screw holes due to insulation foam! My advice is pay the extra for specialist if you're not savvy with a screwdriver!,Wires,Or have a vice to remove the bolt on the bottom hinge bracket! Nightmare!
Design flaw is "The gap given in-between for grab handles to open! It's so tight!,I have small lady fingers and still feel the rough edge of the finished door trim when I use it! BEKO have compromised practicality over aesthetics here! shame! The stainless steel finish looks lovely, but it is just a veneer ,it's not very solid so beware of any bumps or bangs it will dent easily! And unsure if the legs need adjustment again but the compressor can sound very rattly, not as quiet as I'd hoped?Overall I'm pleased with the size and it does it's job, easy to change cold settings on panel, but I'm not convinced about the overalll design or quality, let's see if it lasts as long as it's predisessor!
