Have had Miele before, so it was not difficult decision to buy another one, when my upright Hoover started to feel too heavy to use. This Miele is light, effective for doghairs too. Very happy

Excellent vacuum. I used to own a Miele years ago and loved it. I've tried many different vacuums over the years but this one is brilliant for pet hair and using it on a mix of carpet and hard floor. The bags hold a lot so don't need to be changed too frequently and also the dust is sealed in, so there's literally no mess at all when you come to empty, unlike with some of the bagless machines. Suction is good and powerful and can be varied depending on what you're cleaning. I also like that the wheels are fully movable so you don't have to wrestle with it to get where you want to be. The cylinder has a space so you can clip the hose to it for storage, so easy to pop away in a cupboard. Great for all round cleaning but especially for dog owners like myself.
