    Wiring problems

    4/5
The cooker was delivered promptly and installed by a qualified fitter. When first switched on a fan ran constantly, all day and had to be switched off at the mains when not being used to stop the fan working. An engineer was called to inspect and discovered that the wiring was faulty inside the cooker and had been manufactured incorrectly. He rectified the problem immediately and the cooker is now working well. Not sure how it passed it's final inspection with the problem existing before it left the factory. I'm pleased that the engineer identified and sorted the problem without the need to replace the cooker.

PRODUCT REVIEW: BELLING DUAL FUEL RANGE COOKER

    5/5
This is a really straight forward and easy to use product. The controls are super easy, even my teenagers have worked out how to use it. It's stainless steel and black so looks really smart and fits in well with my decor. I particularly like the timer function which again is very easy to use. I've never used this function on previous cookers but I use this one every time. The fan oven is an excellent size and heats up really quickly. The smaller oven is perfect for roasting. It also has a spacious area at the base to store your pans and baking trays. We are a family of five and it is perfect for our home.

    Belling Cookcentre 100DFT Cooker Review

    5/5
This Belling Cookcentre Dual Fuel Cooker is 100 cm long and comes in stainless steel and black which looks incredibly modern in our inherited old fashioned looking kitchen! It has two ovens, the top right is fan assisted which is so helpful when you layer up lots of trays to cook at the same time. No more rotating pans or moving them up and down to aid their cooking time (our previous oven wasn’t fan assisted.) I love the large glass window, I’m someone who needs to see what’s happening, I couldn’t bare a windowless oven! And I love how the door opens sideways which I’ve found makes it easier to get things in and out. Beneath is a storage compartment, handy for the baking trays although I had hoped it would be a proving drawer (my proving drawer desires usually fade when GBBO ends though). Top left there is a lovely separate grill, which again means you can be cooking several things simultaneously by different means to hopefully ensure you end up serving everything piping hot. Bottom left is the second oven, a conventional electric oven (no fan) but I’ve read that for baking this type of oven works even better, which means if you are doing a big family dinner, Christmas or Easter for example you can even have the cake cooking whilst dinner is on the go. This oven also opens sideways. The timer and clock are super easy to set and use, it’s completely self explanatory and the alarm is nice and loud, my old oven had lost the will to live and was so quiet I often missed it. On top is the 7 burner gas hob. I’ve yet to use more than two at a time but I can imagine that again this feature will be super handy when you are multi cooking. There’s even a dedicated wok burner if you are so inclined, although I tend to use that ring the most as it’s in the centre and away from the edges and small hands. The cooker is A/A energy rated which I’m really pleased about as I cook so much for home and for work so energy efficiency is really important to me. I can see the stainless steel being a little bit of a faff to keep finger print free but it does look incredible when it’s all shiny and clean.

A lovely range, looks great but a little difficult to clean

    4/5
This is a really nice range. The contrast of the black and stainless steel looks great. Although the stainless steel hob can be a little difficult to clean as it smudges. Also the inside door of the oven can be difficult to clean but you can remove it and clean it in the sink. Otherwise its a great cooker. The two ovens are a really good size and come with two racks in each and loads of options for the rack heights. There is a grill too and a storage or warming drawer at the bottom which is really big. Its a lovely addition to our kitchen and a really focal point that everyone comments on.

    Great Product

Great value for money not the cheapest or the dearest however the end result is good. Quality of build and finish is excellent. Cooking times very good which should reduce the running costs overtime.

I will never buy Belling again.

    1/5
After only a few weeks of use, the heat from the ovens had cracked the silver foil type strips on the bezels which have the temperature settings/gas flame regulator printed on them. These were not going to last long without being replaced. The markings on the fascia which indicate which hob one would be lighting was wearing off and the red 'temperature' light for the conventional oven fell into the fascia. All of these problems in themselves I could live with but the months of dealing with Belling and the 5 (yes five) visits from engineers to fix these basic faults is totally unacceptable. I simply will not buy one of their products again and I wish I could just write off £1200 and get rid. Time will tell the new bezels and fascia are fit for purpose.
