Recently had this cooker installed on the 26/04/21..great looking cooker and excellent service from AO..HOWEVER..the fan in the main oven is really noisy, the seal around the main oven isn't fitted properly, and the oven door pops open by itself when the oven is hot.

    Belling cooker

    5/5
I love my new belling cooker. I have had electric and gas separate before but this is the first time I had dual fuel. I'm very impressed. The way the grill works with a fan on somewhere to stop the controls getting hot is great as that's where I had big issues on my last cooker. This was expensive by double compared to my last cooker but so far I think it is worth it. I had it over a week now. I have used every part of it and not disappointed in any way. Much prefer the cast iron bits around the gas hob part compared to the enamel I had on my old one as they used to move around. I like the fact it does not have a glass top as it suits my kitchen best. I do like the tops but not suitable for all kitchens another reason why I picked this one. Love the fact it's not completely stainless steel like some of the other as they show up finger Mark's nd smudges so easy but this had the perfect amount mixed with black and clear glass. Only thing I would love is a light in the top oven but I assume that's because it's a grill also. Time will.most likely tell if it's good. I have had seven cookers and this one so far the top one only just in front a huge range cooker in a rented house I was in some years ago and that was electric only which cost the owner 2,500. If it lasts 8 to 10 years then it will stay my number 1

Cooker looks lovely. But disappointed in quality for the money I paid. A few little details disappointed me, seal running along the front of the hob not fitted properly. Piece of metal that runs in the front of the grill at the top is a bit flimsy. Don’t like the way the glass fits into doors as I think they can slide out to easy. Needs to be more secure. I brought this cooker because of the reviews it got. I had a Kenwood before which I have had for about 17 years. Don’t think this will last me that long.

    Excellent quality

Love this cooker, well made. Note that it must be hard wired with a 6mm cable via the correct installed electrical circuit and not via a plug which is shown on one picture. It has 4 adjustable feet which allow you to get the top of the cooker above your worktops. Simple to use and setup.

Great looking cooker with good features

Delivery was very prompt and delivery men very helpful. Cooker is very smart and works perfectly. The cast iron pan stands are very sturdy and secure (unlike my previous dual fuel cooker which slid about the hob area and were really dangerous) So all in all very pleased with my cooker!

Lovely cooker, disappointing grill, but would buy again!

It is a lovely cooker! The only negative is the grill. The handle slides on when you want to use it, but is a two hand job. I prefer to use it without the handle but with an oven glove. It seems more secure that way. Also the grill does not slide easily on the rail. Also it has 3 heat settings, but the difference between high and medium is about an inch of cooking area. The low setting I think is just to keep the food warm once grilled. No information given. I wish the instructions were a bit clearer - the oven appears to have a defrost setting, but no further information on how to use it.

    One major design fault.

Very nice cooker but has one major design fault. There is a full width joint on the top at the front which from the word go fills with food crumbs and oil and grease splashes. It’s very narrow and really difficult to clean effectively. Makes it look bad from day one especially being black. It should have been either made in one piece or been at the front so nothing falls in. The cast pan rests are very thin and need handling with care when cleaning, I can see them being broken quite easily. Other than that it’s a fine cooker, the ovens heat quickly and the gas hobs are efficient.
