Great little budget washing machine that punches way above its weight. Packed with all kinds of features that we weren’t expecting. The instructions need careful reading as they apply across a few different machines so not all versions have the same features. WiFi is a bonus so you can control your machine from your phone.

I bought this having heard great things about Candy when my old machine of eight years broke down. It was a good price with a high spin speed of 1600 rpm which is exactly what I wanted. There is a good variety of programmes on it although the eco setting doesn’t seem very eco to me when I put the machine on I thought the 4.45 was the kg and time being 45 mins however it turned out the time was 4hrs 45 mins for the load, so I will be steering clear of this one. I take the drawer out after each wash as there is quite a lot of residual water left over which needs drying off. The description says it doesn’t have a timer to the end of the programme it absolutely does and had I not have taken a chance on it because I needed a machine this would nearly have put me off buying. The machine does have wifi apparently but I won’t be using this as I find it unnecessary, all in all a really good machine and my first impressions of Candy are really good.

What I like - it's really nice and quiet which is the reason I chose this machine. It was also a very good price. What I don't like - the design and ergonomics are poor. For example, you can't have the drum for and dispenser drawer open at the same time as they interfere with each other. Also, the control dial has no ribbing on it so it slips in your hand if it's wet. It's also loose in operation with too much play at each setting on the dial.

Nice looking machine. App is easy to use via wi-fi. Rapid washes are a plus. Noisier than my last machine though.
