Good looking machine that doesn’t work correctly

    1/5
Machine washes ok but when on dry you need to remove some of the washing to be able to run the dryer. After a full drying stage has run. When feeling the washing was dried. We noticed that the close were still wet sill so we had to put the drying cycle again the washing again being quite damp so yet another dry cycle run with the same results so giving up and now in AO Care see if they. Can fix it.

    What a farce!

Paid for fitting that never happened, even though my husband managed it in 5 minutes. Then, I had to fight for a refund of fitting. Now the washer / dryer only washes, it does not dry, and it is going to take 3 weeks to get someone out to look at it

    We’re in despair

    1/5
Well as you’ve asked- the dryer did not work at all (made the washed clothes even wetter than they were after the spin) and now, 7 days later, we are still waiting for the promised repair person to arrive… Was supposed to come yesterday, and we’ve not been informed of any changes. Bad luck with a malfunctioning machine, combined with appalling communication from the repair contractor.

    Good washer. Bad Dryer

While it's a good washing machine, even with only a few items in the drum the dryer settings leave the clothes hot and damp instead of dry.

improvement on other models but still has flaws

    4/5
i had a poor experience with a hoover h-wash 300 lite in the past, and decided to give hoover\candy another try. it's still early days with the machine but so far it's a huge improvement on the hoover. it's very stable in comparison, and the balancing sensitivity is far more consistent. it manages to spin most loads with ease, although still struggles with smaller loads that my other machines could spin easily. but this is not a huge issue. brushed hoover\candy still have a very loud motor sound compared to other brushed machines. i don't mind this so much, but if you're looking for something quiet, then these brushed models certainly aren't for you. another downside is it has a poorly designed door which flexes massively at the bottom at the very start of unbalanced spins. this isn't really anything to worry about but can be a little unsettling if you see it happening. the last downside i've experienced so far is a design flaw with the drying cycle - when it takes in water at the start (which is fully normal, by the way), it fills through the jet instead of through the condenser or the outer tub. throughout the rest of the cycle it only does condenser fills so it's not a massive problem but it does add a little time to the drying cycle. in conclusion, if you don't mind a noisy machine then this is a good choice for a cheap-ish washer dryer.
