This is my second Icona Vintage. Despite the first one breaking within 2 years, I put it down to bad luck and went for the same as I love its retro look and effectiveness. That's why I gave 4 stars but whilst working it is a definitely 5 stars. Slightly wider slots allow for teacakes without burning. Very controllable toasting for both sides which can be operated independently at different levels. Removable trays for crumb debris is really helpful. Feels sturdy, not at all tinny. All in all lovely looking and very efficient.
