    Happy cooking

    5/5
I bought this oven specifically because it has a digital screen (no knobs to melt with heat). I have only had it a week and I found it logical and easy to use. I've baked bread for the first time in 40 years and its perfect. The oven tells you when its got to temperature, and it comes with 'sliders' to hold the shelves to stop them tipping. there are lots of handy features and definitely worth the money. The only minus is the instructions which are in 'greyscale' and quite small, I would have liked the print darker and larger so I can see at a quick glance.

    ***** An amazing oven *****

    5/5
I purchased this oven after a lot of research of others. I decided to buy this amazing oven due to the amazing features it has. Both top and main oven are fan assisted and both have a grill. This is great for both large and smaller meals and saves on electric if I only want to cook a small amount. I love the touch screen and being able to see the temperature as it rises. Also after cooking has finished it shows the temperature as it’s cooling down. This is great if like me you want to wipe it over as it shows you when it’s cool enough to touch. The oven also beeps when it gets to temperature so it alerts you when to put the food in the oven. I’ve only had this oven a week so have not used all the features yet. The build quality is second to non. The telescopic rack extenders are so handy when i need to turn or stir food as this means that you don’t have to take the dish out completely to do so. The fan stops when you open the door while cooking, another plus from me. All in all this AEG oven is a huge thumbs up from me!!

    Fantastic Product

    5/5
The control panel took a bit of getting used to as it is all digital, but the instruction booklet was quite easy to follow and so after a few minutes reading it was relatively easy to operate. The oven is so much better than the one it replaced!

Looks great and cooks really well.

    5/5
I feel I have got what I paid for. Looks good and I get great results. Two proper functioning ovens which means I often use the smaller for single dishes rather than as a grill and overspill oven. I had heard that it was difficult to program but it wasn’t. If I can get the hang of it anyone can. Not so keen on the edge on the racks being raised. Maybe a safety feature but sliding on a large loose bottomed flan tin full of Quiche ingredients is difficult. The only criticism I have. Would happily recommend.

Couldn’t be Happier with my Purchase

    5/5
I love this oven. I read about this particular model in detail before buying. With most things there are positives and negatives, but this oven is really good. Fan assisted in both parts, a self cleaning function that my old oven didn’t have and an intuitive touch control system. I didn’t find the same issue/frustration as others with the instructions, I don't care that the touch screen isn't backlit and you can control the ovens independently (I have found you just turn it all off and restart the one you need to).

    Poor shelf design

    2/5
I like the many functions; in particular the defrost, but that is standard in ovens if you pay enough. Hence, I'd say this one's no better than, say, Bosch or Neff - both of which I've bought in the past. However, the shelves in the top oven are such you can't easily lift trays/contents from it. I'd prefer it if I could slide trays off the shelves as it's awkward in the relatively small and raised space of the top oven. I've positioned them upside down. You'd think the designers would have thought of that potential issue. Would I buy again? No.

It works, but build quality was lacking

    3/5
Once we unwrapped the item the oven from it's packaging, we noticed a few build quality issues: 1. Half of the screws were loose. The majority of which were on one side (the right) 2. A couple screws were not fired correctly, and so are not aligned. 3. The metal sheet that covers the top of the oven is slightly warped, and so has a gap that "may" vent heat 4. The oven doors were not correctly aligned, so are askew by a couple millimetres So the vast majority are "cosmetic" issues, but were a concern. Upon installation, we tightened the loose screws, and installed the oven. Used it for a week now, and functionally it still works, and the warped plate is not venting heat, so seems to be safe for use. But recommend checking these things before installing.

    Don't buy

In a space of two days on our second unit and the replacement unit has faults.... The first unit, when being installed damaged the sides of the housing.... The unit was returned/replaced, as the in fibre insulation, was poking out behind the door seal. Second unit delivered & installed within two days, that's good service. But more installation damage, and one of the fans is catching its housing..... AEG is no longer a quality product...
