Needed a new oven to replace an old NEFF double oven that broke. Chose the AEG as it has two fan ovens and class A energy rating for both ovens. Very very happy with it. Cooks beautifully. The only negative is the touch buttons are a little difficult to see for my wife in daylight- would be great if these had backlighting- having said that, our kitchen lighting is not perfect so could be solved by us changing this. Still would choose this oven though. Both ovens have multiple modes which means you can adjust the cooking mode for pizzas, versus roasting, baking apple crumble or bacon on the grill. The telescopic shelf is a nice feature, making it easy to turn items and check food. Has a useful energy saving mode which seems to cook really well. Overall I highly recommend this oven.

The product has not been installed yet but the service i have received from AO is the best service i have ever received from any company in my life. This was my first time using AO and I cannot rate AO highly enough. AO will now be my first choice of supplier when sourcing new products.

Love this oven, easy to use - the touch controls look great and are quite simple to work out. Quick to heat up - really like that is has an indicator that tells you how close it is to the required temperature and then beeps when it is ready. The oven seems to cook evenly, we haven't burnt anything yet! And also like how it gives a 'warning' beep a few minutes before the timer is due to go off. The oven looks really smart.

The oven is in almost daily use and so far, my wife is delighted with it. She's slowly getting the hang of the touch controls and is now able to use most of the oven's various features. The oven heats up swiftly using the rapid heat function and is very well insulated - much better than the one it replaced which was very slow to get up to temperature and seemed to heat up the kitchen as much as it did the inside of the oven. On the advice of the fitting team, she discarded the sliding shelf runners. They're a good idea but they prevent you from changing shelf positions easily. The main fan oven cooks evenly though she has yet to test this fully. Unlike our old fan oven though, it doesn't burn the food nearest the fan and undercook that nearest the door! Finally, the oven looks great and as the main and upper ovens are each fan assisted and each have grills, it should prove very versatile.

Bought to replace previous AEG double oven. Improvement is that there is a fan in both ovens. Negative, the ovens are slightly narrower and there were only two shelves for two ovens!! so roast on shelf one, tray of roast vegs on shelf two in the main oven Ummm ....where is the rice pudding to go, oh I know the top oven.... wait a minute where are the shelves !!!!! Very disappointed, I have had to purchase two more shelves which are much less robust than my previous ovens shelves. Also no handles for the grill pan, what is that about !! AEG customer services advised no handles as customers shut oven with handles on and burnt themselves!!! My previous grill pan had detachable handles which meant you could not shut the oven door if they were attached. Why not go with this option? I believe that the shelves and handle issues are cost cutting exercises. This on a 1k double oven is very poor show.

This is our third AEG double oven, the previous two were updated rather than replaced because of breakdown. So, as a brand they are impressive. The new oven fits our housing perfectly, looks the business and is both functional and versatile with really useful features and catalytic linings to avoid the future drudgery of deep cleaning. The top oven now has a fan and is larger than our previous model so most meals can be prepared in that saving time and money. I have read the 'niggles' in other reviews and admit the instruction manual could be better, and the appliance does come with only two shelves, but all in all it is a quality product with, so far as we are concerned, brand reliability.

I am in love with my new oven! Admittedly we had waiting 15 years to get a new one (upgraded from Whirlpool) and therefore I was always going to be impressed with the advances in oven technology but this has far surpassed my expectations. It cooks food so well and so quickly with loads of different programmes depending on what you are cooking. Our food just tastes so much better. It takes a fraction of the time to warm up. The top part is a great oven as well as a grill. And it has a self cleaning function - what more could a girl want! The only negatives are that it was not cheap (but you get what you pay for) and it is a little complicated at first (but all that functionality is not instantly understandable). Overall I am delighted with this product and would highly recommend!
