I love this oven. I read about this particular model in detail before buying. With most things there are positives and negatives, but this oven is really good. Fan assisted in both parts, a self cleaning function that my old oven didn’t have and an intuitive touch control system. I didn’t find the same issue/frustration as others with the instructions, I don't care that the touch screen isn't backlit and you can control the ovens independently (I have found you just turn it all off and restart the one you need to).

After a lot of research and reading a lot of reviews I came across this Oven by AEG. I was dubious of purchasing it after reading some negative reviews, regarding the confusion on the instructions, and other issues some customers had experienced. I can honestly say although I have only had it installed a week ago I am so happy with it so far- I found the instruction very easy to follow and have had no problems using at all. I love the simplicity of having clean lines with the digital interface. It gives it a seamless and contemporary look. This oven looks amazing in my newly refurbished kitchen. I went with my gut on this oven and I'm so glad that I did.

This is our third AEG double oven, the previous two were updated rather than replaced because of breakdown. So, as a brand they are impressive. The new oven fits our housing perfectly, looks the business and is both functional and versatile with really useful features and catalytic linings to avoid the future drudgery of deep cleaning. The top oven now has a fan and is larger than our previous model so most meals can be prepared in that saving time and money. I have read the 'niggles' in other reviews and admit the instruction manual could be better, and the appliance does come with only two shelves, but all in all it is a quality product with, so far as we are concerned, brand reliability.

I like the many functions; in particular the defrost, but that is standard in ovens if you pay enough. Hence, I'd say this one's no better than, say, Bosch or Neff - both of which I've bought in the past. However, the shelves in the top oven are such you can't easily lift trays/contents from it. I'd prefer it if I could slide trays off the shelves as it's awkward in the relatively small and raised space of the top oven. I've positioned them upside down. You'd think the designers would have thought of that potential issue. Would I buy again? No.

This oven is fantastic , looks great, heats up quickly , quiet and cooks perfectly.

Very efficient with 2 ovens and separate fans allowing the heat to cook food evenly. Cooks much faster than our old one.

So far so good, it’s only been a week. So many functions! Have cooked cakes, roast dinner, pizza all with different settings and all went well. Have also managed to use the programmer so the roast started cooking whilst we were out walking. Love the fact it tells you when the oven is at the right temperature with a little beep. The fan turns off when you open the door, so you don’t get the heat blown at you. Just hoping it lasts as long as my last aeg oven, 23 years!
