I bought this in 2019 honestly the worst oven I have ever owned the grill clicks off when it wants and I've had to replace the oven and fan multiple times I have gave up with it now

Got this oven just over two years ago, was never completely happy with it as it didn't cook very evenly and couldn't use top oven and bottom together without issues, however it did the job and we adjusted how we cooked things accordingly, however this week the main oven stopped working, there was an awful popping sound and it no longer heats up(top oven/grill still works - sort of).

We have only had this oven for a couple of weeks and are very disappointed with the grill function because it keeps cutting out when the grill reaches a certain temperature. We timed it today and the grill was on for 10 minutes before cutting out for a whole 10 minutes (the manual says it does this for a "few minutes") and then heating up again. We were cooking sausages and it didn't feel safe to have the meat cool down only to be reheated. Apparently this is an eco grill and it is supposed to cut out, but as far as we are concerned it isn't fit for purpose. We wanted to cook 8 sausages and 8 rashers of bacon so that four people could eat at the same time. We could only cook 4 sausages and 4 rashers of bacon at the same time as the grill tray is very small (the grill space available is only 35cm wide and 23cm deep) and then had to wait for 10 minutes before cooking the next batch. Not great if you have a large family. The grill tray provided also has to sit on a metal shelf (rather than slide directly into the grill) and the shelf slips forward when you pull it out. The other negative is that the plastic control knobs get extremely hot when the grill is on. On the positive, the delivery and installation by ao.com were excellent.

Oven stopped working on 2 years in service

If I could give this oven 0 stars I would. It is the worst oven I have ever had the misfortune to own. When I only just had it installed, I called an engineer out because I thought something was wrong with it. Turns out that the grill has a thermostatic cut out, when it gets to a certain temperature, it cuts out. Usually takes between 6 - 8 minutes to come back on. This means, everything else is cooked but whatever you are grilling is not cooked. I only had for 2 years and 3 months and the element went in the top oven. I have never been so happy to get rid of a product as this oven. Take my advice, do not purchase. You will regret it.

Absolute rubbish! Grill turns off during cooking and now Main oven stopped working in under 2 years…

After just over 2 years of light usage, the grill element has failed. Also, when using the grill on full, it cuts in and out after a while: really frustrating.

Bad design, you get an additional condensate drip tray that must be fitted, which I did but it has proved ineffective ruining the drawer unit below the oven, hotpoint not interested having sent out an engineer to check installation. Stay Away from Whirlpool, Indesit and Hotpoint
