My old oven packed in. Read reviews on this one on ao.com. Works well looks good. Easy to use only thing is that the front plate does get quite warm when using the top oven but I can live with that.

What I like - timer is easier to set and louder than my previous oven. Fan oven is also much quieter than previous. Like the split grill function so you can grill smaller dishes Disappointments - oven is described as having catalytic liners which is one of key reasons I choose this oven, but only found out on delivery that these are only fitted on the side walls and not the back of the oven which is the hardest place to reach to clean. Shelves in top oven don't fit properly but hoping these will ease with time and use. Grill pan is much smaller than my previous oven.

This oven looks really good and cooks food well. Unfortunately I can't give it more than 4 stars because the control panel fascia gets really hot. I had a similar oven (earlier model) in my old house that never got hot on the outside (except for on the doors) but Hotpoint sent out an engineer that confirmed it's all working as expected. Hopefully it won't be an issue and won't affect the adjacent kitchen units and doors. Only time will tell.

Great oven. Easy to use. Says what it does. The timer is an easy function to use.

I have been using this oven for over a week now and compared to the more expensive self clean ovens it is good value for money.

Does everything you'd want an oven to do, but had one major flaw . . . The oven seal is so good, that when in use the build up of water has no way to escape. When you open the door, water spills out everywhere. I'm my case into the cupboard below. Not good. Now having too put a towel over the cupboard door every time outta used too try to stop it damaging our brand new Wren kitchen!

I am very happy with the oven for use in oven mode. However the grill does not work for longer than 10 minutes at a time without turning off. If you leave it on it does then turn on again and continues to cook. But this means the time to cook anything takes ages. I have been passed between AO & several Hotpoint departments only to be told this is an energy saving feature. When I point out this is all well and good but it doesn't actually continue to cook whilst in energy saving mode. No one is in the slightest bit interested and just keep passing me on to a different department. If you would like to use the grill for anything other than toast don't buy this.
