I have always wanted a coffee machine. I compared different brands and models and this met my requirements. Making a fresh cup is easy and taste great. The additional instruction videos help with maintenance and features.

I love this coffee machine, I replaced my old De'Longhi Magnifica after over 12 years of regular / near constant use and a couple of repairs. The machine is good quality, the customer support and service arrangements are excellent, I can not recommend this product line enough. As for this machine, it is a refinement of the models before. It is a nice balance on cost and fancy gizzits. I didn't want the milk dispenser as it isn't refrigerated and I use this machine throughout the day working at home. So this was the model for me. It does steam for milk but is generally low maintenance. The coffee is excellent, beans go in the top, used ground coffee goes into a hopper at the bottom that empties every few days and great coffee comes out. The water hopper includes an optional water filter, that I immediately fitted and noticed the crema was far thicker and tastier. If you enjoy coffee, you won't regret this machine. You can probably make an argument that it's cheaper than a coffee shop trip after 12 years but honestly I just like not having to deal with people before coffee.

Overall works well, currently only using it for espresso. It is slightly too loud when grinding.

Instruction manual difficult to follow. Had a Problem with water not pumping and had to search lots of YouTube videos to help resolve the issue. This failed! However a chat with Emma at Delonghi was able to reassure me. Now that the issue is resolved,the coffee is wonderful!
