Now I have bought the charcoal filters it appears to be working perfectly. I was aware that the filters are not included but could I suggest AO put a list of sockists in with packaging making the stressful process of installing the extractor ( novice ) a little less fraught.

Looks nice, and feels like a quality product, I'm glad I chose this one. It's very powerful and I think we will probably only use it in the lowest setting most of the time as it does get quite noisy when you turn it up to a higher setting, it's good to have the option if we need it though. The lights are nice and bright and it was easy to fit ourselves in our new cabinet. We are using it for recirculation so I wish AO gave you the option to buy the charcoal filters at the same time as you buy the hood, it would be easier and more convenient.

Really pleased with this cooker hood. We bought it to match the cut out having removed an old extractor so were limited on choice but this is small, powerful and reasonably quiet. The fact that it is plugged in rather than hard wired was really helpful but it would be nice to have a plug included (presumably left off as it's not just a UK model) I had expected to need a second pair of hands but once the ducting and prep work was in place it only took 10 minutes to install myself, being that it's lightweight and includes retaining clips to keep it in place prior to accessing to the cupboard soffit. Lights and extraction settings are ideal in mid sized kitchen

I opted for this product as the dimensions were just right to fit in the space of an old integrated cooker hood that I removed. I was expecting to be more impressed than I was given the fairly high price tag. The product seems poor value for a steel box, extractor fan, two lights and a thin stainless steel fascia when you consider what you can get for a similar price in terms of other appliances. This model didn't even come with a set of charcoal filters for recirculation mode, which many other models do - and what's more they're not that easy to find and buy on line, even from the Elica website!

Fitted exactly into the existing aperture and is a big improvement on the old extractor it replaced. Lights are brighter, and although it's early days yet, it does seem to be much better. Smells seem much reduced from the last hood, so time will tell. Very pleased with it, so far.

AO provide, yet again, an excellent service. The Elica ERE-HE-SS-60 is an excellent item, fitted perfectly and with ease. Very slim-line, slick and reasonably quiet.
