We had had an older model for nearly 10 years that came with our house but things were starting to go wrong. The new model is slightly taller, has led internal lighting which does not extend to the upper shelf which is odd because that’s where the light bulb was in the older version so it is taking a bit of getting used to. The freezer box design is improved but time will tell whether it has been engineered to a more durable long-lasting spec. Overall extremely pleased. There are cheaper brands available but for us the Smeg hits all the buttons.

This will be my third smeg fab28 fridge. love the colour love the new storage design but no wine shelves. Nothing from the old smeg fridge fits this one of course! so sorted by buying a cheap rack from amazon which does the job. The condenser went on the old one after 7 years so hoping this one lasts longer.

Love my new Smeg fridge , it looks really smart cannot stop looking at it . Its a bit tough to open but im sure this will become easier with use . Love it .

Product is excellent. Nice and deep fridge with a good size ice box. Cover it was delivered in was brilliant, kept it protected and it came out amazingly shiny.

We bought this to replace a baby blue smeg fab which decided to call it a day after 22 years of service. It’s definitely been updated, interior is completely different and the dimensions slightly different also. So far ( Only a week) my Wife & I are very happy with the product and also the excellent service ao.com provided right from ordering to a Saturday delivery and removal of our old Smeg fridge. Whether this one will last as long, who knows, but it’s a very attractive addition to the kitchen.
