Hands up, this is a good buy. My last frost free appliance died a death after just under three years - hopeless. The motor gave up as did the magnetic seal keeping the door closed. This freezer went cold on me very quickly and when the temperature was right, I was loading it up. Took no time at all. The drawers are spacious and, unlike it’s predecessor, the drawers come out and tilt downwards making it easier to view and remove food items. It is whisper quiet. So quiet, I had to check to see if it was still working. The freezer has a child lock and a visual display panel to check and change temperatures. Masses of space inside. I think I did all right here. Cushty.

A very good under-counter freezer for a small kitchen in a small flat. One point to bear in mind, however. The design of the plug means you need to add about 5 cms to the depth of the product as stated on the website. It cannot be pushed right back into the standard space and protrudes by about 5 cms.

Great product. Cools down to temperature quickly and much quieter than the freezer it replaced, really good to have a proper thermometer adjuster on the fridge rather than adjusting by arbitrary numbers.

You know how sometimes you buy a product and from the moment you touch it, it exudes quality. That is what you get with this freezer. Well designed, quiet and discreet

I was happy from start to finish. From ordering my product to the delivery from ao.com. I don't as a rule order on line, but it was an emergency. My other freezer broke down so I had to get on with it. I was kept informed what was happening and the freezer was delivered about an hour after my delivery email. The delivery men took my old one away and my new one was put where I wanted it. I unpacked it, switched it on and 3 hours later it was ready to fill. Very pleased all round. The freezer is quiet, I can see the temperature at all times. I have gone from a large upright freezer to this undercounter freezer and managed to get most of my frozen items in the new one. I am really pleased and in the future, when I need to replace my fridge, I will try to purchase a matching one.

The Liebherr G1223 under counter freezer is an excellent robust product which was easy to install and put into use. The user manual contains some useful tips such as removing the bottom drawer so that plastic containers may be placed directly on to the freezer floor - very useful when quick freezing in bulk.
