Had it a month now and we don't use the knock knock lights on feature anymore, don’t know why its just a show of thing really - also you have to position foods in a way that you can see whats in the fridge for this feature to be effective and if everyone in the house doesn't do this then it’s pointless. My wife bought mini bottles of champagne and Preseco to line the front of the fridge, she had no intention of drinking them, just so it looked nice when she knocked on the glass but a month later I don't see the Preseco anymore it seems to have disappeared from the fridge. Ice maker is great as I’m the only one that use to fill the ice trays with water in our previous fridge so I got ice on tap now but the ice is small even the non crushed ones. Only problem is you need to have a wide mouthed glass so the ice doesn’t spill all over the floor, you also have to remember to put the ice in first when otherwise you’ll be wipeing up the mess and if you got fizzy in the glass first then forget. The fridge section only has one light on the ceiling, not really enough if you ask me although I do like the way you can dim the light at nights, if your sensitive to bright lights like I am then this is a life or eye save feature. The fridge is difficult to close, it wont just close on itself like our old fridge and it has no handles which I never thought would be a 3rd world problem but it is. The glass is a pain to keep clean because of the lack of handles- I’ve given up cleaning it now. Can’t find out how to change fridge and freezer temp without using the app, the wifi is almost pointless and can be annoying - yeah when I’m at work in meetings i don't need to know that someone at home has left the fridge open, that just annoys me. I really wanted the one with the camera inside the fridge but she wouldn’t let me have it The drawers at the bottom of both fridge and freezer open at the bottom of the drawer which means you have to bend down further top open it , not great - bad design. The top of the freezer drawers are glass which means if anything like frozen meets drops from the shelf’s above its gonna break the glass; I’m just waiting for this to happen just after we’ve filled the freezer from our monthly shop - don't even wanna look online to see the price of a replacement shelf/drawer - it will just P me off. Other than that its a great fridge, temps are consistent - I checked with my BBQ thermopen, they are bang on. It can freeze meats quickly with the fast freeze function but you have to remember to put it on 7 hours before you do a big shop, kinda pointless if you ask me who remembers that 7 hours before making their monthly trip to Costcos and its important to freeze meats quickly as it locks in the flavour and keeps the texture right. The wine rack is great and the door shelf’s are amazing, super wide. This fridge/freezer is no larger than my previous 14 year old Samsung Fridge but it makes much better use of the space even with the ice maker. The doors feel very solid and well made, there’s no plasticky feeling when you open this fridge. It feels like you spent money on it. I just hope it serves me another 14 years but time will tell. Don’t let me down LG

its great and very spacious

We ordered this fridge freezer for our new house as we wanted something big enough for a family of 3 plus a dog (our dog has fresh food that’s stored in the freezer). The fridge side has plenty of space and it’s useful being able to see what’s inside by knocking the glass twice, it’s also great being able to open the smaller top door to grab things that are kept in the fridge door like milk and juice. There are 2 large drawers and a smaller utility drawer as well. The freezer has 2 drawers and shelves and there is plenty of space for everything. The water storage is kept within the fridge which keeps the water nice and cold and the water needed for the ice machine is taken straight from the storage unit so you don’t have to put water into multiple parts of the fridge freezer. We would definitely recommend

We call ours Elvis because it’s cool, fat and American. The knock on the door gimmick is fun when you have guests. The crushed ice function has been a bit hit and miss and sometimes clogs up completely.

Good space inside and good ice dispenser function without needing to be plumbed. The fridge door is very heavy though and does clatter when you close it. Not a big deal but just something to note. Useful function having the glass to see what’s inside.

Really easy set-up - just plug in and go! The InstaView screen is super handy and provides quick access to frequently used items. The water dispenser is a little noisy, but only makes the sound when actually using the dispenser and refilling.
