The oven is excellent

This purchase replaced a 10 year old Siemens oven that had failed after year of service. We are very impressed our new Meile ovens we purchased two easy to use and quite in operation.

Great product. Will take me a while to try all the different functions.

Best cooker I have bought

Looks good, heats up fast and has an even temperature. Plenty of operating modes and great you can adjust from the app.

It was between a Neff N50 and this Miele, which appeared roomy (76L capacity is larger than almost all standard size single ovens) with a clear digital display. About two weeks in and fan oven is working great, temperature and cooking is consistent, with no need to deviate from instructed cooking times and temperatures. Air fry mode is working brilliantly for chips, which come out super crispy without drying out. Read the manual carefully to put the right accessories in the right racks, and avoid eco mode if you're cooking multiple items: opening the door will massively increase cooking time and negate any "eco" benefit. Temperature and timer controls are not always obvious, don't forget to press "OK" at every step else settings will be lost. The "current temperature" display is helpful, but the timer display is confusing (what does 0:20h mean? Answer: 20mins!) Apart from the questionable design of the display and controls, the oven itself is fantastic so far, with plenty of cooking modes and accessories to explore and (hopefully) master.

Although it is a more expensive oven, so you expect it to perform better. This does not disappoint. We purchased this going on from a very basic oven which always ran quite hot. To start with we were a little disappointed because everything took longer to cook than we were used to. However, the quality of the cooking was VASTLY superior to our old cheap oven. Read the manual, learn the settings and use the correct function for the food you are cooking and it does do an excellent job. Rather than items coming out unevenly cooked and sometimes discarding parts that were cremated. Everything now comes out evenly cooked throughout the entire oven. The benchmark we use for an oven is a sponge cake. In this Miele our sponge came out consistently golden all over the top, nicely level, not domed in the middle and perfectly cooked all the way through. The trays that come with the oven are very easy to clean and work exactly as you would expect them too, again read the manual for the care guidelines. Our only slight critique is that the support runners you get with this model which mean you can pull a loaded rack or tray right out and it is still supported are great but when you lift off said rack or tray they stay out, so you have to put the rack or tray down and push the runners back in before you can close the door. The other thing that annoys me is if you change cooking functions when the oven is up to temperature, it seems to readyge oven temperature differently for different settings which to be is infuriating, surely the oven temperature is the same regardless of the function settings but I suspect these two small gripes are probably one of those things that will annoy some and not others and they do not affect the quality of the oven to do the job it was designed to do. Overall we are very happy with it and it is worth its rather large price tag

The timer function is a bit odd, but the temperature control and heat distribution is excellent.
