This oven looks good quality. You use your finger to choose a function on the sensor controls. (I don't use my mobile). I think it's complicated and a bit longwinded. The light does not stay on but you can touch the light function any time you want. Some dishes we've cooked came out a bit undercooked but I am still getting used to the oven. It is good to have a microwave function. The glass tray stays when using the microwave function and the metal rack comes out. The oven comes with an instruction book and a Cookbook with recipes. This oven also has Automatic programme settings and Manual settings for recipes within titles: cakes, cookies and muffins, Pizza and Co, Meat, Fish, Bakes and Gratins. There are no Automatic programmes for recipes within titles: Bread, Vegetables and Side Dishes, Soups and Stews, Desserts but there are manual settings for these. The cookbook is also online at miele.co.uk. I have a large Siemens oven which is 14 years old which I love and use for baking and large meals. I haven't tried baking in the miele oven yet but I'm hoping it will become the most used oven. If you are buying this oven I suggest you learn all the symbols of the functions as you don't want to put on the microwave/popcorn by mistake when you have the metal rack in the oven.

Smart looking versatile combination oven with useful features. Reaches required temperature quickly making it fairly energy efficient. Easy to clean.

I love this combination oven and microwave. So far the oven cooks food beautifully and is easy to operate as is the microwave function but it may take a bit of practice to get your timings right for the microwave if converting from an older turntable style microwave to this which is stationary. The design offers a much bigger capacity meaning you can bake a dish or dessert and use less energy compared to using a larger oven for one dish like a pasta bake, tray bake/cake, pie, etc. The touchscreen buttons are user friendly and very easy to navigate. There are a variety of settings for the oven and some combination settings which I am yet to try. You can also use metal baking trays on the rack when using the oven functions only (not microwave function) which is something we could not do with our previous combi microwave oven. The oven is very quiet compared to our previous one and minimises the odours of food, which is great if you frequently make food packed with flavours. The light doesn’t stay on throughout the duration of you cooking although you can adjust if you wish. I opted to just turn it on as needed, to prolong the life of the light. Also the door is soft close. The only issues I have found so far is that due to the touchscreen controls, you are left with fingerprints after use but they do wipe off very easily. Also if you have issues with sight then you may struggle with reading the text on the screen from a distance. You may also need to adjust the sound so you can hear the beeps for timers/reminders or when preheating as you may not hear this in noisier environments. Overall if you love cooking and need an additional oven that doubles as a microwave then this is ideal.

Overall great. Buttons aren't easy to read, and it isn't as easy to set as an oven with a dial. But it works well and everything is well made.

Very stylish and so easy to use. The WiFi option is fantastic. Would highly recommend.
