I had 2 Haier i Pro Series 5 HD90-A2959 9kg Heat Pump Tumble driers delivered to my home and neither one worked properly. They didn't heat the clothes and even after 4 hours were not even warm. I sent them both back and bought a BOSCH. Much better machine.

I'm sure this dryer is very efficient and does save costs... but as a tumble dryer.. it doesn't do it's job very well! It struggles to dry my towels and sheets after 8 hours or 2 full cycles, sometimes running into the second day of drying. It can get quite tedious in a large household with lots of laundry to do. I much prefer the old condenser dryer that I had switched from to be honest. On the off chance that I have a faulty machine I've contacted AO who sent me contact info for Haier who in turn weren't much help. Hopefully others have a better experience with the actual drying performance of the machine (not just it's costs effectiveness) but I wanted to share my experience.

This is a great dryer and my first heat pump dryer. My current washer/dryer simply cannot dry. Even on the cotton setting, this machine isn’t causing my smart meter to go off the scale. It’s far cheaper to run that the majority of dryers, but does take slightly longer to dry with the programs which is a small price to pay. Looks great too and quiet and you can connect to your phone via the hOn app to select programs and alerts when the cycle has finished. Would definitely recommend this manufacturer and model of dryer.

Does its job

Stylish, good quality and efficient but slightly noisier than we expected

Still working out how to get the best out of it, but it is cheap to run compared to the Bosch Advantixx condensing dryer it replaced. It doesn't seem to have a sensor to automatically stop the cycle when the load is fully dry, so you have to keep an eye on it. Haven't connected it to my phone yet (why would you?!) but I suppose that's cool that it's a connected appliance!

we have just set up the new dryer and the first impression is a good one as the dryer was very straight forward to set up and use and we are hoping it performs as well as I read in the reviews

Smart and easy to set up with a very easy to use condenser slot. Due to being a heat pump dryer it is noticeably slower to dry clothes than previous versions. Overall a good piece of equipment but expectations need to be adjusted for those used to older dryers.
