Not worth the price - does not have a heating sensor to tell you it's up to temperature

    1/5
I had this installed today and whilst I wasn't expecting a lot I was expecting to be able to tell when the oven is up to temperature during preheat. It does not have a sensor or indicator to tell you that, you just have to guess. This is a significant flaw so I am rating it very low. I tried accesing the helpdesk from the AO site and the Hisense website stated they do not have a product with my model. Really unhappy wih it and considering returning it. Do not buy unless you are able to tell the temperature in other ways.

    So Far So Good

    5/5
So Far So Good, we have used all 4 rings on the hob and both the upper and lower oven in roasting mode to date, a week or so after AO delivered and installed, our new All Electric Double Oven Free Standing Cooker. The'proof of the pudding will be in using the Grille an ovens in Baking Mode when we need to. To date we have had All Electric, Mixed Electric and Gas, and a All Gas Cooker over the past 44 years........ In looks this one is probably the best looking one we have ever had. The Controls are 'all singing / all dancing' having settings for all sorts of cooking, whilst the knobs themselves are clear and knurled, so easy to turn. Both ovens have lights - a first for us as only one of the ovens, the larger lower ovens hasmve previously had this doubke feature. The Hobs are very quick to heat up with lights to tell you when they are safe to touch. The ovens take a short while to heat up, but then previous ones did also, and this cooker's two ovens are huge internally. Infact the grille pan in the top oven is the width and length p the oven's interior, never had a grille pan that big before. Really the only negative so far is that the fan is quite loud, but we will get used to that, set against the many positives. So far then I would highly recommend this make and this model in particular.

    Love the features

Still getting used to change from gas to electric cooker. My only problem with it is the grill tray handle, it won't go on properly with the rack in place. Other than that. Love it

Needed a new cooker as the induction fan stoped working on the old one. So my partner and i decided to have a go with this Hisense didn't know now much about them but from what i gather they are from China, Anyways overall cooker is okay fits nice looks sleek my partner likes as well i was concerned that the rated 42amps was going to be a problem so i paid for the connection as well to be safe but it turned out i didn't need to if like me you have a separate switch on your consumer board and a red cooker switch 32amp and 6mm cable to be hardwired all is okay Engineer didn't change anything. Also one thing to note the cooker fan is quite loud and sort of ticking sound but i put this down to being fan assised and air fryer also the timer beeper is very loud. Right on to the working of the machine oven has lots of features which we wanted but does take a while to heat up. The ceramic hobs work very well and has four heat indicators on there to tell you if still hot only had for about a week and the tops are starting to get scratched up from the pans and the glass top seams very thin and i think will break quite easy if not careful so bear that in mind but overall good cooker but for price could be alot better.

Avoid Hisense, if the product doesn't get your the service will

Unfortunately the fitted kitchen I have was constructed by morons so this was the only oven which would fit without rebuilding the whole thing (0.5cm slimmer than others). I now wish I had just had a new kitchen, it would have been easier. Heats up slowly, doesn't tell you when it does actually reach temperature (if it ever does). I usually had to put it on 20 degrees hotter than needed and use an oven thermometer for checking it was safe to cook with. It then gave up completely and the after care is appalling and I am still waiting for a repair or replacement. Save your money and go for a better brand.
