This is the worst designed dishwasher ever: it must have been cooked up by a man or a design student fresh out of college who have never ever used a dishwasher in their lives. For an entirely incomprehensible reason, the designer chose to put the cutlery basket at the back of the machine, so that you cannot reach it unless you open the door all the way down. It's a never-ending nuisance. The rest of the layout is catastrophic, too. Although it is the same size as other dishwashers, it fits only about half a normal load because of other bad design decisions.

This dishwasher was a budget choice and we have since upgraded to a far better model for not much extra money. The unit may have been faulty, but was unable to clean effectively without me filling it with salt and rinse aid every week. In the end I just hand washed everything so we had it checked and replaced.

On using the dishwasher for the first time - after following all the instructions - water started to pour out of the underside of the dishwasher, flooding the kitchen floor and warping some newly laid wood. The alert function did mean this only happened for 30 seconds or so, but still enough to cause damage. Plumber says it wasn't an installation error - but an expected machine fault, so be cautious.

Unfortunately this item, new out of the box, was not working.

Pleased with service and delivery. Looks good, but needed a pump replacement after just 12 months that would have cost almost as much as the dishwasher once labour was factored in. Good 12 months of use but expect these things to have a longer life span than 12 months? Therefore I wouldn't recommend this.

Awful, awful excuse for a dishwasher, wish we’d never purchased it…. My advice, spent a bit more & get a whole lot better…. You’d struggle to get worse! Anyone whose given this more than 1 star, has clearly been washing up the dishes in the bath their whole life! The machine feels cheap and flimsy, the cutlery holder being positioned at the back is ridiculous & fiddly to get at. The drying is so pathetic, I assumed I’d unplugged it mid cycle! Most of the items come out still wet & there’s a lot of condensation on the inside.. Internally it’s exactly the same size as our old Beko machine, however due to the poor internal design, seems tiny in comparison! Don’t even get me started on the door fitting fiasco!! Nearly cost me my marriage!! …... I stupidly thought I couldn’t go wrong with a brand like ‘Hoover’!! - Hahahahaha!!!!

Very poor build quality . It had no front adjuster for the two rear feet so was a nightmare to fit and align .The main pump was noisy and there was hardly any insulation around the unit. Luckily it failed day 1 and AO exchanged it for a Sharp . Despite being the same price it is head and shoulders better. It’s almost silent and has a front adjusting rear leg . Buy the Sharp!
