great little hoover. Used in church worked well in a confined space.

The HET 160 is easy to assemble, it has instructions included that are straightforward and take you through the simple steps of setting the machine up. It comes with four vacuum bags, one of which is already installed within the machine. The low wattage (compared to my old Henry, which was roughly double) does not affect the performance, I've found it works very well on both carpet and laminate flooring. This is an excellent 'little' vacuum cleaner, with the emphasis on the little. It's compact design and light weight make it easy to move around the house, upstairs and down. It has two multidirectional wheels on the front that allow it to move in all directions. It's a simple machine, which is part of it's beauty, just one button for switching it on and off. It goes away neatly when you're finished with it, the power cord is housed within the top of the vacuum and retracts easily with a winding wheel. There is also a slot on the back of the machine for sliding the head into so that it stands up nicely when not in use. The only problems I've found with the machine are with the newly designed head. It doesn't glide as effortlessly across the floor as the previous model, though perhaps it just needs a little time to bed-in. Also, the air outlet valve on the handle is very stiff, I can't imagine someone with arthritis being able to turn it, I certainly struggled. Again though, I imagine that it will loosen with time. All in all, I think this is a great little machine and would happily recommend it. It has a couple of minor flaws but they are greatly outshined by the performance of a vacuum that doesn't hog too much space in the cupboard.

Hetty 160 This is a lovely looking well known vacuum. It has great variable suction to adjust to what you are cleaning. The head has 2 settings which is easily switched between using the switch on the head. Its easy to assemble and easy to change the bag. The wieght of the vacuum isnt too bad and can be easily carried around. The pipe is easy to maneuver, and switching between lengths and attachments is simple to do. Its not a loud machine and would be happy enough to use it whilst children are sleeping. Negatives are the attachments, it comes with 4 seperate attachments but only storage space to put 3 of them, unless i am not seeing a place. The wire likes to get twisted around hetty when its in use so had to keep checking it wasnt tangled. But to sum things up this item is a lovely item and does what it is suposed to do and would definitely recommend this item to friends and family

I've recently acquired a Hetty Compact HET160 and I LOVE Her. She's very cute,compact and girly... and Pink! BUT don't be fooled, she is not weak, she is powerful, VERY powerful. She has 2 power settings and although the lower setting is quite powerful, the higher is amazing. You control the power really easily by a red switch on the hoover handle. We have 3 children, a cat and a dog in our house, so quite a lot of traffic in and out everyday.... cat and dog hairs are a real pain for me.... not anymore! Hetty has lots of different attachments inside her little box and the brush enclosed is just the ticket or those pesky hairs. she has extra pipe so you can adjust the length/height of the hoover dependant on what job you are doing at the time. Hetty's handle has a bend in it, which can be used either way round, making high cupboards and awkward corners, nooks and crannies so much easier to clean. Hetty isn't too heavy either.. I have a few back problems myself and I do NOT struggle carrying Hetty up and down stairs, etc at all ... She has a good amount of power cable aswell, making the stairs an easy task and I've even hoovered out the car with her! You can assemble and disassemble Hetty really easily, she comes with a really simple set of picture-by-picture instructions, you can't really go wrong. Hetty has a lot of power but isn't too loud. My partner works evenings, so sleeps during the day, when I need to clean!!! He can't here Hetty... He doesn't notice at all. The kids love Hetty too. My 6 and 7 year old's love helping out now ... and because she is so simple to use/assemble/disassemble/lightweight - they can! I'll never look back now... Hetty all the way. I cannot sing this Hoovers praises any louder... 5 out of 5 from me!

Purchased the Numatic Hetty Compact Vacuum cleaner some two weeks ago. This is a great vacuum cleaner - super suction, easy to put together and easy to use. Above all it was inexpensive.

Great little hoover, my misses has been bugging me for one of these for a long time. Glad i got it for her, it's so quiet and doesn't bother me watching tv at all ;0) top marks hahaha

Brilliant vacuum cleaner. Very easy to use and change bag. Mostly though it is so powerful
