Excellent, has more features than our previous dishwasher. Dishes go in dirty and come out spotless. ??

Yes, it’s pretty great and I’d recommend purchasing it because even on a 1 hour wash all the pots and utensils are completely clean without any pre-rinse even when I leave them inside for 2 days before washing. It’s easy to use and looks good, and I got a great price with a discount. Only 1 slightly negative thing I can think of saying is the the cutlery box is pretty large and you can only put large plates in so far as it’s goes in between where dishes and plates go.

We drink pints of squash at mealtimes and it doesn’t really fit pint glasses in (only a couple on the top and then they’re not very secure). The tray on the top is annoying as you’ve got to remove it every time you add something to the top. After a week, my husband put it away in a cupboard! The gap between the prongs is small in places to difficult to fit all our pots in for a single day in our three-person household. It says it’s for 14 settings (I think) but over a day we probably don’t quite get to that even if we’re at home all day and have every meal at home. However if you add a couple of small pans (e.g. for soup) and a serving bowl you cannot get all our pots in for the day. Two or three times in the 10 days we’ve had the dishwasher, we’ve had to leave pots out for putting in the next day or wash pots by hand. We’ve also put the plates in the individual adjacent slots yesterday (rather than every other slot) and three of the plates were not washed properly. Having said that, it has washed the pots pretty well the remaining days. So not very happy. Did consider taking it back but that would probably be a lot of hassle. That’s the problem with buying online as you cannot really know how it would work with the types of pots you use daily. Even buying after looking at it in a shop might not have revealed the problems.

I’ve always used Hotpoint and always been pleased with their products… I bought this to replace my previous Hotpoint dishwasher which I have had for 24 years! Overall really happy with the product, however my only disappointment is that I was under the impression the automatic door open function worked for every cycle, which is doesn’t. The instructions also don’t advise which cycle this works on so I’m working my way through each one to make a note.

Product is affordable and good value. Quiet machine and cleans everything well - even heavily soiled. The delivery drivers were the nicest lads I've ever had, so friendly and helpful couldn't do enough for me. This made such a difference to the usual (non AO) drivers who are miserable and just dump and grunt at you. The two lads who delivered my dishwasher were a credit to the company, wished i had got their names to email in. Great customer service from start to finish.

Its quiet and does the job what more can I ask for

Really pleased with this purchase. Always go to AO.Com in the first instance for any electrical items. Happy that I was able to get some money returned as AO price matched. I only use the 30 minute cycle and this works fine. Machine is very quiet too.

Brilliant product. Lots of washing programmes and love the digital timer on the front. More height for dinner plates than my old hotpoint. Very pleased with product.
