Great cooker hood, really pulls the steam and odours out of the room - stronger than previous Lamona hood. Only negative was that the anti return V flap for venting outside was missing and after sales is non exist ant with AO, contact Hoover directly.

Great hood, keeps the kitchen for of smells

Nice looking cooker hood at a very good price. A Which recommended good buy. Easy to install and looks great in our newly refurbished kitchen. A little noisier than I had hoped but apparently better than some. Just installed so can’t comment on reliability.

Awful installation guides, wouldve been better without them, to be honest. No help on Hoover site available, my product isnt even listed in tech support. Looks alright though and seems to be working ?how long for

Chose this model because of lower noise rating. It is quieter than previous one we had but by no means quiet. Works well to extract smoke and fumes. As with all curved units, the sides are lower than the middle and I am concerned at banging my head on them; moved the unit higher than recommended to avoid hitting the middle section.

After 7 years my Lamona oven hood decided to pack in and I spent an age trying to find a suitable replacement. Eventually went with the Hoover 300 HGM600X as it had the 'Which Best Buy' for budget oven hood and a similar style to my old one. Only took my brother (who is a qualified electrician) about an hour to rip out the old and install the new, with no major issues (much of the time taken was us chatting). Way more powerful than my old one and a lot quieter in comparison (I did have a Lamona - which was rubbish and crazy loud). The only downside is the Carbon filters are not included and not easy to find - took me a while to find a supplier online for a reasonable price. So keep that in mind when buying.
