    Awful

Awful it takes so long to dry anything - it has a mind if it’s own snd never stops it’s a nightmare I would like to get another one as soon as I save up enough money

    Not fit for purpose.

    1/5
This was a replacement for an old Hoover. I assumed that it would be as simple and efficient as the previous one which had worked well for many years. The pointless complexity of programming is extremely irritating. I want a heat setting and a timer. And it simply doesn't work - whatever the setting. Clothes with legs or sleeves are wound into tight balls of fabric, still wet in the middle. Even worse with sheets and duvet covers - no point putting them in. Regretfully I will be replacing this - and NOT with a Hoover.

    Unfit for purpose

    1/5
Purchased a new Hoover H-DRY 300 Lite due to being listed as energy efficient. The energy saving is clearly because it is totally unusable! Have had a Hoover engineer out who confirmed they don’t work due to the single direction drum action. Hoover told me to take everything out every 10 minutes to de-ball the items (which roll themselves into tight, wet bundles). Steer clear - this product is not fit for purpose

    RUBBISH

    1/5
Worst tumble dryer ever , no reverse action so everything comes out creased and forget putting bedding in as it takes hours because it just rolls it into balls and doesn’t dry middle. AOs video showed it reversing but it doesn’t, real backwards step from my old basic hoover before . Now having trouble even turning it on as button is rubbish. How much tech do you need to dry clothes.GO BACK TO BASICS AND SAVE ENERGY

    Worst dryer ever

    1/5
The worst tumble dryer ever. The touch start is temperamental, working when it wants. Lots of programmes with pretty little icons but poor instruction booklet. Dries small batches of clothes okay but a nightmare with bedding i.e. sheets/ duvets. Special programme that has ‘specific movement of the drum to dry linens minimising tangles and folds’ is an absolute waste of time. Avoid this dryer if you need a reliable, bulk dryer - would never buy again and would turn down if someone offered me one free.

It dries clothes… sometimes (probably the worst user interface ever developed).

Well it works, sometimes. If you want a reliable dryer, take my advice and look elsewhere. I read all the reviews on here (yes pretty much all of them) and decided that as I’m a self confessed tech lover, assumed I could cope with this. I was so wrong. The touch panel is probably the worst ever invented, clunky and works when it wants. Too many programs, with little to no understanding of the difference, poor instructions and an app that only works on Android (ruling out 50% of the population - what’s wrong with universal Bluetooth?). The most useful feature for me is the worst, delayed start means fiddling with the techy touch panel for ages to set the start time, then trying to get the start to work, then waiting till the next morning to see if it actually works. Mostly not, the timer times down and it just sits there with your wet washing! Hover have surpassed themselves here, as an IT and tech person, I’ve never experienced such a poorly developed device/interface. It may be cheap, but avoid like the plague, unless you love being frustrated… you have been warned

    Wish I'd never bought

Wish I'd never bought. Doesn't dry clothes/bedding, they come out looking like they've been screwed up in a ball even when using tmble dryer balls. My response from Hoover was : As for the clothes coming into a ball, all of our tumble dryer are one way action have you tried using tumble dryer balls? Why should I go out and buy tumble dryer balls, if your machine isn't fit for purpose then perhaps they should be included free of charge or better still ensure your machine is fit for purpose before making it available for sale.

Save your money look at another tumble dryer!

If there was an option for minus stars I'd give this dryer -5!! It doesn't dry clothes properly they come out still damp and sometimes just as wet as they were from the washing machine even when using the extra dry setting! Bed sheets come out like a big wet rugby ball!! and don't even bother trying to dry towels in it you'll have the dryer on all day!! I've had a engineer out who has said the machine is not fit for purpose but AO won't exchange it even though I'm still within my 30 day period!! My advise to anyone looking at this machine don't buy!! It is a complete waste of money and in the current climate you'd be better off getting another brand! Looks like I'm stuck with a tumble dryer that doesn't do what it actually says its meant to do!!
