Too many settings that are complicated and the app what you can download to use other settings on is useless

My previous Hoover tumble dryer (which was amazing) stopped working after 10+ years so thought buying another Hoover was the right idea. Previous tumble dryer - 1hr 15 and everything was fully dry. This new tumble dryer - basic program is 1hr 36 mins and I frequently need at least another 30 mins - so it is basically taking an extra hour to dry the same loads.....now I guess it is probably a bit more energy efficient than my previous dryer but any efficiency is surely negated by the extra drying time required. Lots of programs that I'll never use - seems just a bit too complicated for it's own good (and I am good with tech) Duvets and bed sheets just seem to roll up into a ball and the inside of the ball never dries. Honestly, I wish I'd bought a different machine. On the positive side - it is a bit quieter than my previous machine.

Very disappointed with this machine, overly complicated controls, never seems to get very warm, and larger items just end up in a big ball.

Controls are very complicated, not obvious what settings do, only 2 settings can actually take a full 9kg load which is very misleading. I would have ordered a different model if this was made clear in the description. Even on one of the settings for 9kg, clothes are not fully dry at the end of the cycle and need a further 30 mins or so. If I could return it, I would.

This tumble drier does not have reverse action, that means the drum turns just in one direction, and not in both. Causing this the balling of large pieces of clothing. So if you are trying to get your bedding dry, bear in mind this will not happen. You will need to take the bedding out of the drum after the first drying cycle ends, give the pieces a goos shake and run the dryer once again, for king sized bedding you'll need to do this 3 times, at least. Hoover's recommendation of using wollen balls to avoid the balling of the bedding and shorten the drying time, doesn't work either, you will just get a louder drying cycle and wet sheets at the end of the 2 first runs. If you only need to get your small pieces of clothing dry (undies, socks, T-Shirts, etc) then this machine will do just fine, and in this case yes, the wollen balls do help a little with the drying.

Not what I thought i was buying! ! Reviews all said it was easy! Wonder if it was the same machine delivered! It is not straight forward ?? I wanted a machine that you just choose the length of drying time! this is not an option! Takes ages and is not always dry so you have to put it on again ! Not impressed ??

Too many controls & leaves washing damp after long cycle. Wish I had replaced with hotpoint with simple timer and high / low heat settings ????
