It is a good size, fitted it where I wanted it. The On button takes three or four pushes to engage in request. I found the instructions quite limited in explanation and do not really understand them now, but I have found the main thing which I need most and that is to dry towels into a soft towel, which it does well.

Seems fine but only been using it for just over a week, more complicated than old model I had but will get used to it and was fairly easy to initially set up and start basic programme.

Good drying time and low electric use compared to my other dryer

Quite simply the worst piece of household equipment I have ever bought. The buttons are the flat sort, that don't physically move - you have to press them in just the right way, with the right pressure, or they don't operate. The 'bleeps' are very quiet, so it's very difficult to tell! The 'start' button is particularly difficult, and if you accidently press twice, it goes onto pause. If you are using the delay timer, there is absolutely no indication whether it is paused or not! Hoover advised to open and close the door, so you know it's paused, then carefully press again.... When you do get it to work, how dry the clothes come out is very hit and miss. Despite the 'dryness sensor' the programmes all just seem to run to the preset time, dry or not. An even bigger problem is that it doesn't reverse during drying, so sheets and duvet covers roll into a ball, and stay wet. The 'large items' programme is supposed to avoid this by 'special movements of the drum', but this simply does not work... Bitterly regretting that I didn't get our 30 year-old, £60, 'White Knight' repaired - a much more useful machine, which DID have reverse tumble!

It looks good but...... It seems noisier than my previous tumble dryer and too clever for its own good. With my old Hoover tumble dryer, I just set the timer, set the heat level, shut the door and away it went. Usually 40 minutes for a full drum. With this machine, I have to tell it what fabric is in it and it then decides how long it will take to dry it. Sadly this can be in excess of 2 hours. Really not impressed.
